Screening and Selection

Every candidate goes through a skill or trade test, experience verification, police verification, a medical check-up and an interview. Employers can also interview shortlisted candidates before final selection.

Offer Letter, Qualification Recognition and Visa

Once the candidate confirms, the employer issues the offer letter and Rao International prepares all the required documents.

Qualification recognition: Indian qualifications are recognised in Germany. For nurses, the Recognition Partnership route lets them start working while recognition is completed.

Visa: Workers travel on a National (D) Visa, usually under the Skilled Worker Visa for nurses, tradespeople and chefs. Some candidates may qualify for the Experienced Worker Visa or EU Blue Card.

Language: German language training, typically to B1 level, is arranged before departure.

Timeline: The visa usually takes 2-4 months, or less through the employer’s accelerated procedure.

Once the visa is approved, we book flight tickets.

Deployment

We coordinate travel and arrival with the employer. After arrival, the worker registers locally and receives a residence permit, and we stay available for support.
